HDB Launches Record Number of Flats for Sale


 H.D.B is a company which helps foreign and local entrepreneurs in setting their own business in Singapore.
On Tuesday, The Singapore Housing and Development Board, announced at its Riverwalk project, the construction of 3,032 units which seems to be the largest number of units in one event.
It's been reported that the construction is located at the intersections of Yishun Street 31, Yishun Ring Road and Yishun Avenue 6.
The new flats which will be offered under the BTO ( Build to Order system), will include 254 studio- type flats, 250 three- bedroom flats, 652 four- bedroom units and 252 five- bedrooms apartments. Except these the project, developers planned mini- marts, a restaurant, 2 shops, a child care center and a committee center for all of its residents.
Another 1,624 units will be spread over 10 non- mature estates (plus Hougang, Bukit Batok and Woodlands). They vary from two- bedroom apartments to executive flats and they will be offered by HDB under the SBF (Sale of Balance Flats scheme).
Those units, which will be offered under SBF actually consist 55 two- bedroom flats, 53 three- bedroom standard units, 8 three- bedroom premium flats, and 1,081 four- bedroom flats. Except these there another 338 five- bedroom flats and some 89 executive flats.
It is announced that the HDB company already let on the market out some 13,000 flats since the beginning of the year. At least 1,300 new flats will be performed in September this year, in the Woodlands area.
What HDB tries to convince the future BTO flat buyers is that they can turnover the keys in areas like the Punggol, Sengkang, Bukit Panjang and Woodlands later this year.
